Photos of Me Organizing
I was recently interviewed for a magazine article, and the author asked me for some photos of me while working on my organizing jobs. I don’t have photos like this taken on a regular basis, so I didn’t think I had very many. When I looked through my photo archives, I realized I had more than I realized! These photos were so much fun to look back on, I decided to turn this into a blog post. I have been a Professional Organizer for about 7 years now, and I’m so grateful to be able to turn my love for organizing and solving spatial problems into a career. Every day is like a new adventure for me. I get to help people organize their closets, home offices, kitchens, storage areas, laundry rooms, books, garages, basements, bedrooms, and more! I’ve also had the pleasure of organizing a few horse stables. I have a passion for horses, and although I’m not currently riding horses, I love to be around them. In fact, I think riding horses is one of the main things that inspired me to be an organizer. I learned to ride horses at a very old-fashioned (meaning strict) riding school in Virginia. At age 7, we had to come dressed properly, had to know how to properly groom the horses, clean the horse’s saddles and bridles. Pictured below is a photo of me when I was about 7, cleaning a horse bridle. Next to that are photos of me as an adult, organizing horse supplies and having to take a break from organizing to turn the horses out. The last photo is one of my little Parson Jack Russell, Maisy, helping me bring a load of things to Goodwill. She is such a good helper! In addition to all the sorting and decluttering, I’ve also assembled my fair share of Ikea furniture. I have a lot of fun putting together furniture so that my clients have systems to be able to store all their stuff- and find it later!

This was a really fun blog post to put together! If I'm ever at your house helping you organize, and you notice a good photo-op, please let me know! I'd love to be able to add more photos to this album. Thank you so much to all my clients! It brings me such joy to be able to serve you!
