Since 1997, I have been an essential oil enthusiast, and am now proud to be a doTERRA Wellness Advocate.  doTERRA oils are Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade (CPTG), which means, unlike the essential oils you may find in the grocery store, many of these can be taken internally.  In addition to personal use, I’ve been sharing doTERRA oils with my Health Coaching and Home Organizing clients with great results.  If you’re interested in learning more about doTERRA, please visit my doTERRA page, or contact me to chat.

Here are some of my favorites:

Breathe: Great for when you feel like you just can’t take a deep breath.  It’s a blend of Laurel Leaf, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Melaleuca, Lemon, Cardamom, Ravintsara, and Ravensara.

Clove: I love mixing clove oil into my water, oatmeal, or into my soup!

Deep Blue:  Before and after go out for a run, I use it on my neck, hips, legs, ankles and feet.  It’s a blend of Wintergreen, Camphor, Peppermint, Blue Tansy, Blue Chamomile, Helichrysum and Osmanthus.

Lavender: Lavender is my main staple.  I use a few drops in a bucket of water for cleaning, in laundry, in my diffuser, in my water and all over my body.  It’s ultra relaxing and helps with sleep.

Lemon:  Another great staple.  This is great for mixing into water for an energizing twist, cooking, cleaning and diffusing.

Melaleuca:  Commonly referred to as tea tree, this oil has a large variety of uses.  If I ever feel like my immune system needs a boost, I will mix a drop in water and drink it.  It’s also a great powerhouse cleaner.

On Guard: Smells delicious, reminds me of my grandmother, Ma, and is like the Black Tourmaline of essential oils.  It radiates light.  Great for circulation and immunity.  It’s a blend of Wild Orange Peel, Clove Bud, Cinnamon Leaf, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus Leaf, and Rosemary Leaf/Flower.

Peppermint: Minty, tingly, cooling baths.  Great for mixing into chocolate protein shakes, coffee or water.

Rose: High vibration, delicate scent, emanates love.

Serenity:  This is actually how I got into doTERRA.  Someone recommended this blend for Olive, my sweet Jack Russell Terrier who loves to make her presence known in the car, in the form of vocal variety.  As much as I love knowing she’s in the back seat, I use this blend to support any stressful feelings she may be experiencing.  I’ve found it helps with thunder and fireworks too!  It’s a blend of Lavender Flower, Cedarwood, Ho Wood Leaf, Ylang Ylang Flower, Marjoram Leaf, Roman Chamomile Flower, Vetiver Root, Vanilla Bean Absolute, Hawaiian Sandalwood Wood
